Teams Block Update: Flexible Social Profile Links for Team Members

WordPress Gutenberg interface to that shows how admins can link social media accounts to a team member's profile page.

We’ve added a powerful new way to showcase your team’s online presence in Amplify Teams.

Editors can now add social profile links directly to a team member’s public profile. Choose from a wide range of supported social platforms, then simply provide a valid URL for each account. Once saved, those links are automatically available on the front end for visitors to explore.

This update makes it easy to:

  • Highlight individual voices and expertise across platforms
  • Support emerging and niche social networks—not just the usual suspects
  • Keep profiles current without custom development

Each social link is intentional, structured, and editor-friendly—giving you full control over what appears publicly.

The result is richer team profiles that better reflect how people actually show up online today.
