New Animation Tools for Digital Storytelling

We’re excited to introduce a new set of storytelling blocks for Amplify designed to add motion, depth, and energy to your content without sacrificing performance or editorial control.

Our new Animate In blocks allow editors to apply subtle animation effects as content comes into view. Whether it’s a simple fade in or a gentle bounce, these animations help guide attention and bring pages to life in a way that feels intentional and refined.

Editors have full control over how animations behave. You can define when an animation triggers, how long it lasts, whether it includes a delay, and if it should repeat each time the block enters and exits the viewport. The result is flexible, reusable motion that enhances storytelling rather than distracting from it.

We’re also introducing a powerful new block that allows editors to transition background and text colors as users scroll from one section to the next. This creates immersive, chapter like moments across a page and opens up new ways to signal shifts in tone, theme, or narrative focus.

Together, these new features make it easier than ever to build dynamic, expressive stories with Amplify. Thoughtful animation and color transitions help transform static pages into engaging experiences and give storytellers new tools to connect with their audiences in meaningful ways.

These features are currently in beta and will be released later this year.
