Invest in Open Infrastructure helps funders, institutions, researchers, and publishers make smarter decisions about the open technology that research depends on. As IOI has grown its services and sharpened its strategic focus, the need for a digital presence that communicates that value clearly became equally important.
We partnered with IOI on the UX and UI design for the new site, with a focus on making their expertise and breadth of work immediately legible to the people who need it most. The redesign brings clearer pathways through IOI’s two primary service areas, strategic consulting and coordinated funding, so visitors can quickly understand what IOI does and how it applies to their work.
The updated design also better surfaces the impact behind IOI’s efforts. With engagements spanning four continents, more than 50 networks, and a total audience reach in the millions, the story IOI has to tell is a compelling one. The new site gives that story room to breathe.
